One room workout

Sorry that I haven’t posted more but I have been busy with everything and not much time to blog. With that said I have a ton of things to blog about so here is one of many that I have done since gone.

Have you ever found excuses after excuses of why not to workout. I don’t have equipment, I don’t have time, I am tired, and I don’t know what to do! Well here is a workout that will put all of those to an end.

This one room workout was a great cardio workout. It was simple, quick, and gave a good sweat. Remember you can always add variations to these exercise to make them harder or easier. Example burpees: harder burpees could be high knee (tuck) jumps when you come up- easier burpees could be not even doing a burpee but just squatting or even stepping back instead of jumping into plank.

Well here is to a great workout. You deserve some you time.

Running Running Running!

I was in a running mood this morning and had to try this.

Just a heads up I am more of a distance runner than a speed runner. With that said this killed me and at the end had to run at a decline to have some help.

Remember to always keep your form in check. If you are losing it cut it short because an injury isn’t worth it. If you just started running or really have no idea about form I recommend Chi Running! This book/DVD has saved my knees, back and ankles.

Burn 1,000

Sorry I haven’t posted more, but here is one I did yesterday.

Wish it was burn $1,000 not burn 1,000 calories!!!

Well not much to say other than this is a great workout. Loved that the jumping jacks were spread out in this workout to keep that heart rate up. You will feel the burn after this one, and hope that you do this in a nice A/C room.

I posted the direct link, but the picture has all the information needed to do the workout. I am trying a running one tomorrow and promise to post it ASAP.

99 = killer workout

Saw this on Pinterest and thought I should give it a try. It took me about an hour to complete. What killed me was the leg lifts. Wow! You think it will never end when you are doing round 77 but before you know it you are at 22. Last is the 11 min. run and you think I did!

HIIT workout

I personally try to do HIIT workouts 2-3 times a week. I love the feeling you get when you do them. You go all out and push yourself to the max and feel great in the end. You soon see how much more you can do in your other workouts. Here is the explanation of interval training.
